Trip to Ohio
Well, I finally got to go home and visit my mom and dad. I was home for mom's birthday on August 21st. It was a short trip, but it was so good to see them. Neither of them had seen Gibson since dad had heart surgery the day before Gibby was born (April 4th). Since then, well he has been recovering from MRSA, infection, a giant wound, and so on. What troopers they both are. They sure do love each other. What a scary ordeal. It really was so fun to see them with him. Here are photos of them with Gibson. Finally, they got to meet him.

Your dad looks good considering. I hope he is feeling better. I think about him from time to time and hope that he is taking care of himself.
