First day of School

Marley and Hoggan started school on August 19th. Marley is in 5th grade and Hoggan is starting 1st grade. They were both completely unenthusiastic about starting back. I had to agree. We still had many days at the pool in us, but it was cut short. Beck started today, August 30th. We have been preparing him for this for over a month. We talked to him about riding the bus home and he actually told us he was excited. Well, everything went off without a hitch. He went to class without crying and rode the bus home and walked off the bus smiling. Not only was I waiting for him, but Janice (our wonderful next door neighbor) was also waiting to make sure he made it okay today. He loved it, and is excited to go again tomorrow. This is going to be a very good year.
