Hike #6 Donut Falls

Patti, Kendra, Afton, Linly, and our good friend Deana all joined us on the hike to Donut Falls. We drove up to Salt Lake City and then 9 miles up Big Cottonwood Canyon to the trailhead for Donut Falls. It is a great hike with a wide and well traveled trail. You actually have to scale a rock slide which if you took the wrong route could be a little scary. Donut Falls was well worth the hike. The cousins wished it had been warmer so they could get into the falls, but I think even with more heat and sun the water would have been too cold. Beautiful evening, wonderful trail, and a great reward for such a short hike.
